Albany teen admits guilt in Broadway shooting, faces 6-year sentence

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- A 16-year-old has admitted guilt in a shooting and gun-related incident in Albany and Watervliet.

The teen pleaded guilty to Second Degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. The plea was entered before Judge William Little on March 12.

Albany Police linked the teen to a Sept. 3, 2025, shooting near Broadway and Main Street, where shots were fired at another teen. The victim was unharmed…
