GHENT, N.Y. (WNYT)- A Slingerlands man has been arrested for rape following an investigation in Ghent, according to the New York State Police (NYSP).
Tufan Oner, 26, was charged with First Degree Rape and two counts of Third Degree Rape. The investigation started March 10, 2026, after NYSP says they received a report involving a 16-year-old victim.
Oner was arrested March 11, 2026, in Slingerlands without incident. He was arraigned in the Town of Claverack Court and is being held at Columbia County Jail…
