Child forced to run to avoid getting hit by car passing school bus in Upstate NY, cops say

A driver has been accused of nearly hitting a child who was stepping off a school bus last week in Upstate New York.

Neal V. Daley, 51, of Poughkeepsie, has been charged with reckless endangerment and other crimes. He was arrested one day after he passed a school bus that was dropping off a child in the Catskills, the New York State Police said in a news release.
