A 16-year-old from Watervliet has pleaded guilty to gun possession charges after being linked to two separate incidents in Albany and Watervliet last September, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. The teenager admitted guilt to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Judge William Little on Wednesday (March 12) and now faces a six-year prison sentence, followed by five years of post-release supervision.
Authorities say the first incident happened on Sunday, September 3, 2025, near Broadway and Main Street in Albany, where the teen allegedly fired a gun at another person. No one was injured in the shooting, as reported by NEWS10 and WNYT.
