MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Malta man was arrested on Friday after he allegedly punched an elderly person in the face, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Justin Nielsen, 29, faces a felony charge.

Deputies were called to the scene, located at the Budget Inn in Malta, just after 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Authorities alleged that Nielsen had punched a person who was 65 years old or more in the face.
The 29-year-old was charged with second-degree assault. Following arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance until further proceedings in court, according to the sheriff’s office.
