ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — CBS6 is hearing stories of the troubles students in Albany are having getting to school, and now they are demanding changes.
A group of local students called We Are Revolutionary spoke at last week’s Board of Education meeting, asking for help getting to school.
“Public transportation is how youth get to school, jobs, and opportunities that shape their future, but across the Capital Region, too many young people are being left behind because they can’t afford the fare or are denied access to the buses altogether,” said Courage, a student in the Albany City School District (ACSD)…
