Muslim Student Association shares traditions, learning and thanks

On Mar. 12, high school students who are part of the Muslim Student Association visited Eagle Elementary School as guest readers in Ms. Parmenter’s fifth-grade library class. The students shared colorful picture books to help the elementary students learn more about the traditions celebrated during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of reflection and worship for Muslims around the world and in the BC community. This year, Eid al-Fitr begins at sunset tonight, Thursday, Mar. 19, and continues through Friday, Mar. 20.
