SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — What began in February 2025 with distribution in 21 locations has grown into a regional retail success story. Following an impressive debut one year ago and steady expansion, Market 32 and Price Chopper announced that Allie B’s Mac & Cheese is now available at 120 stores across the Northeast. In its first year alone, more than 34,000 pounds of the gourmet offering were shipped to stores to keep pace with customer demand. The locally created comfort food has quickly established itself as a regional favorite and will now bring its signature, home-style flavor to Foodfare departments in six states.
“Customers are looking for food that feels special, crafted with care, and rooted in authenticity,” said Blaine Bringhurst, president of Market 32 and Price Chopper. “Allie B’s Mac & Cheese delivers on all of that and the response over the past year has been outstanding. It’s a restaurant-quality, award-winning dish that reflects our commitment to supporting regional creators while giving our guests something truly exceptional to serve and enjoy.”
Created by Albany, NY-based entrepreneur Kizzy Williams, owner and head chef of Allie B’s Cozy Kitchen, the gourmet mac and cheese features the same award-winning, restaurant-quality recipe that diners have enjoyed at her Albany restaurant for years. Williams, who is affectionately known as “Allie B” to her customers and fans, saw her restaurant’s dish earn top honors at the annual Mac & Cheese Bowl in 2024 and it quickly gained a loyal following for its rich, homemade taste. Beyond serving thousands of loyal customers, Williams is deeply committed to fighting food insecurity and consistently steps up to support families in need. Giving back is more than an initiative; it’s the foundation of Williams’ vision…
