Upstate NY woman accused of stealing $470K from regional chamber of commerce

State Police arrested an Upstate New York woman on Friday following an investigation into the alleged theft of more than $470,000 from the organization she led.

Marybeth C. Shults, 32, of Canajoharie, faces charges of grand larceny in the second degree, possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, and falsifying business records in the first degree. The first two charges are class C felonies, while the falsifying business records charge is a class E felony.
