Schuylerville woman accused of biting deputy during arrest

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A Schuylerville woman is facing felony charges after reportedly biting a Saratoga County sheriff’s sergeant during an incident Thursday night, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to an active domestic incident around 8:19 p.m. on Lafayette Street in Schuylerville.

According to the sheriff’s office, 19-year-old Naydine Sargent of Schuylerville had already been taken into custody for a separate matter when she reportedly freed herself from a handcuff and bit a sheriff’s sergeant on the finger, causing physical injury…
