CHATHAM — A Columbia County man faces charges for sexual abuse involving multiple victims following what State Police called an “extensive investigation” into allegations against him.
Benjamin O. Gleason, 39, was charged Friday with seven counts of felony rape and three counts of predatory sexual assault after investigators found that Gleason allegedly abused multiple victims over approximately 10 years, police said Monday in a statement. The Chatham resident faces several other charges, including criminal sexual acts and sexual abuse.
Gleason had not entered a plea as of Monday morning.
