Troy man faces felony drug charges after deputies say 500+ mg of cocaine found

Saratoga County, NY (WRGB) — A Troy man is facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop in Saratoga County earlier this week.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop around 6:34 p.m. Tuesday on Malta Avenue in the town of Malta after authorities say a driver failed to signal a lane change within 100 feet. Following an investigation, deputies arrested 56-year-old John Noob of Troy.

Authorities say Noob is accused of knowingly and unlawfully possessing 500 milligrams or more of cocaine. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a class D felony…
