TROY, N.Y. (WNYT) — An appellate court has rejected an attempted murderer’s request for lighter sentence.
Zymeir Walton pleaded guilty in the middle of his trial to attempted murder in the November 2022 stabbing of his ex-girlfriend inside a car on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. He also stole her car.
Walton was sentenced to 8 years in prison…
