Wrong-way car crash on I-787, Exit 4 leaves several injured

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — A head-on collision on I-787 that left a driver seriously injured is under investigation, according to the New York State Police (NYSP).

On Sunday, around 4:20 a.m. NYSP responded to reports of a head-on collision on I-787 northbound in the area of Exit 4 in Albany.

The investigation determined that a wrong-way vehicle struck a northbound tow truck head-on. A passenger in the tow truck was uninjured, and the tow-truck driver was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries…
