No Tip – Only Expletives
A local restaurant is speaking out after what they say crossed the line from poor tipping to outright disrespect, and the receipt tells the story.
The staff at Kris’ Mid City Tavern in Menands shared a photo of a customer check totaling $118.34, on which the customer, instead of leaving a tip, scribbled an insult directed at the server.
No gratuity—just an expletive-laced message that rhymes with “duck stew.”
Why Would Someone Do This?
In a Facebook post, the restaurant didn’t hold back, saying the group was “a problem right from the start,” allegedly refusing to show proper ID, questioning clearly explained upcharges, and ultimately treating staff in a way they say won’t be tolerated…
