SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– On Wednesday, March 25, a Troy man received a 10-year prison sentence for crashing his Mercedes into a Niskayuna AT&T store in 2022. According to the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office, 33-year-old Steven Carrion’s sentence follows an eight-count jury conviction.

“Mr. Carrion perpetrated one of the most dangerous acts of domestic violence that mercifully did not end with serious injury or death that we have prosecuted,” Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney said.
Officials said Carrion was found guilty following a multi-day trial, with a verdict that was delivered within two and a half hours of deliberation. He was found guilty of three counts of second-degree burglary, first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of first-degree criminal contempt…
