MENANDS, N.Y. (WNYT)- A new water main break in Menands sent water onto Wolfert Avenue, adding to a string of pipe problems in the village this year.
The break started around 11:30 a.m. April 1, with water seeping through the sidewalk, bubbling to the surface and running over the curb toward North Pearl Street.
Menands Mayor Brian Marsh said only a few properties were affected because crews isolated the break to one side of the street and kept water service on for the other side…
