Trailer collides with Maple Avenue bridge in Glenville

GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Not even a week after a motorhome struck the Maple Avenue railroad bridge underpass, the Glenville Police Department reports the bridge has been struck again. Police said no one was injured and that they issued a summons to Kelly Ann Wight, of Saratoga Springs, for violating the town code.

Law enforcement responded to the bridge on Monday at 4:24 p.m. and found a 2024 Chevrolet towing a fifth-wheel camping trailer. Wight allegedly was driving north when the top of the trailer got stuck under the bridge.

Authorities reported that Wight’s trailer was 13 feet high and could not fit under the 10-foot-high underpass. Wight is scheduled to appear in Glenville Town Court again on a later date.
