GUILDERLAND — Costco has purchased more real estate adjacent to Crossgates Mall, where it will be opening its new Guilderland big-box warehouse store this summer.
Costco paid $15.625 million for the 16.5-acre parcel at 1701 Western Ave. in Guilderland, according to a deed filed with the Albany County Clerk’s office on May 13.
The company purchased the property from Guilderland Devco LLC, a limited liability company affiliated with Pyramid Management Group, which owns Crossgates Mall and is the developer for the new 163,000-square-foot Costco in Guilderland. Pyramid declined to comment on the land sale…
