ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – After serving customers for decades, an iconic Albuquerque diner on Central is up for sale. The restaurant has even made on-screen appearances in “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”. The owner said it was a difficult decision.

The diner on Central and Washington has been serving customers in Albuquerque for 43 years. Loyola’s was established by Loyola Baca and her daughter, Sarah Cordova. After her mother passed away in December, Cordova said that it’s time to sell the business. “This is why this is inspired, because of her, not because of me. I’ve kept her legacy because this is something she wanted me to do; we worked hard together,” said Sarah Cordova, owner of Loyola’s.
The diner is one of the last historic diners on Route 66 and has made appearances in over 13 movies and TV shows, including “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul”…
