Edgewood to vote on emergency medical services deal as deadline looms

EDGEWOOD, N.M. — The clock is ticking for Santa Fe County and the Town of Edgewood to come to an agreement on emergency services and a vote is coming Tuesday.

The vote comes after the town and the county have been debating this issue for months. Last week, when it looked like there was a deal about to be signed, an Edgewood commissioner reportedly changed the terms without telling anyone. That led to Santa Fe County backing out.
