Heat moves in to New Mexico before storm chances later in the week

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Very clear skies have returned with patchy fog in some eastern areas, seasonably cool conditions, & calming winds.

Air temperatures in the north are mostly starting off in the high 30s to near 60°. Elsewhere to the south, air temperatures are mostly ranging from around 50° to near 70° in southern areas.

Many areas from eastern New Mexico to the Pecos River Valley area will range from the 80s to 90s from north-northwest to south-southeast from high to low elevation.
