NMDOT: I-25 reconstruction could finish ahead of schedule, more projects coming

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Leaders with the New Mexico Department of Transportation say the I-25 Reconstruction Project in Albuquerque could finish ahead of schedule.

Construction crews expect to finish rebuilding the Montgomery and Comanche interchanges by April 2027, which would be around two years and nine months after construction began.

“We’re on track for that. I think we’re a little bit ahead of schedule. Everything is going as well as it can be going for that kind of a project. So we’re pleased with the progress for sure,” Acting NMDOT Secretary David Quintana said…
