ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s another problem hotel on the City of Albuquerque’s radar. City leaders said it is littered with filthy conditions, and it could be on the hook for thousands of dollars in fines.

Extend a Suites and RV park is just the latest problem hotel the city has dealt with in recent years. Some had so many issues, the city has shut them down. But the city said they are giving this hotel a chance to clean things up. “This one is a little bit unique in that it doesn’t have the critical failures we’ve seen in other properties,” said Dan Mayfield, Press Secretary, Albuquerque Mayor’s Office.
In March, city code enforcement said they started receiving calls about the Extend a Suites and RV Park on Central Ave. near Tramway Blvd. Since then, the city has found numerous issues like no hot water, damaged electrical systems, and plumbing that didn’t work…
