ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After multiple bear sightings around the metro in recent weeks, the New Mexico Department of Wildlife said they were finally able to safely capture at least one bear in northwest Albuquerque.
A mother bear and her cub roamed a neighborhood, ate apples and drank from a pool before wildlife officers captured and reunited them.
Police called homeowner Tsigabu Seyoum on Sunday while he was out of town to tell him a bear was in his backyard. When he got home Sunday night, a neighbor sent him video that was already spreading on social media. The video showed one of the bears climbing into Seyoum’s backyard and drinking from his pool…
