ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Albuquerque police say a teenager is facing several charges after officers found him carrying a loaded rifle downtown Friday night. Police say an officer spotted the teen with a concealed gun near Central and Third, before video shows the teen run away.
Officers chased him on foot while another officer responded from the downtown substation and helped take him into custody. Police say the rifle had a magazine inserted with a round already chambered. The teen is now charged with larceny of a firearm and a handful of other charges…
