CORRALES, N.M. (KRQE) – Many think of farms and ranches when they think of Corrales, but over the past few years, people are flocking to the village for luxury homes, quiet streets, and low crime. Alex Anderson fits the bill. He said he moved from out of state because Corrales had exactly what he was looking for. “I was really looking for a place that had the amenities of being close to a city, while also having a rural country feel,” Corrales Home Buyer Alex Anderson said. “I’ve got horses, trailers, and a couple businesses. I was looking to consolidate all that into one place.”
He said he put on a new roof, a complete re-stucco, redid the septic, and installed 20 new windows, with upcoming plans to re-do the inside. “The property I bought was built in 1986; it’s an adobe home,” Anderson said. “I’m a big fan of adobe. It needed a lot of work.”…
