Heat continues with better isolated rain, storm chances

It is quite a mild to warm morning in the Albuquerque Metro Area as temperatures have fallen into the 70s and upper 60s. Albuquerque’s low temperature, so far, this morning has reached 75 degrees, which makes it about 10 degrees above normal. Today, near record heat is forecasted, once again, in southwest Colorado and New Mexico. Temperatures today are expected to reach the upper 80s, 90s and top off around 100 degrees for many areas. Similar to yesterday, a few records, could be set again throughout the state. Farmington is one of those locations that could see another record. If Farmington reaches the triple digits, yet again, for today’s high temperature it will mark the eighth day in a row the city has reached 100 degrees (or more)…
