ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A strong dome of high pressure is on a slow move to the west but it will still be centered over New Mexico for Tuesday.
This will bump up temps in many southern spots by a few more degrees compared to Monday. Lots of triple-digits will be on the board, come peak heat of the day, for areas such as Deming, T or C, Las Cruces, Roswell, Carlsbad, Clovis and Hobbs.
Heat Advisories are in effect once again for the Chaves County Plains from 12-8 p.m., most of Eddy County and Lea County from 12-7 p.m., and areas from western Otero County to Luna County and eastern Sierra County from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. High temps will range from 104-107 degrees.
