ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Scattered thunderstorms will continue across central and western New Mexico, with strong wind gusts, heavy rain and lightning possible in several cities Wednesday evening.
That includes Gallup, Grants, Silver City, Socorro, Albuquerque and Santa Fe this evening. Most of the storms will be short-lived and slow-moving, and they will not produce widespread rain.
The main threats this evening include erratic outflow winds, brief heavy rain and frequent lightning. A few wind gusts could become strong enough to cause localized damage…
