ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation Albuquerque Field Office and Laguna Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying an attempted robbery suspect.

On Aug. 7, 2025, the individual entered the Route 66 Travel Center off the I-40 highway near Exit 140 in Albuquerque, within the boundaries of the Pueblo of Laguna Indian Reservation. The alleged suspect held the security guard at gunpoint and then asked where the cashier cage was located. After learning the travel center did not have one, the suspect left the area in a four-door vehicle of an unknown make and model, the FBI said.
