ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a group of APS students. Planning an overseas trip in less than a year. All because of one student’s question, “Wouldn’t it be cool?”
Tracey Taylor teaches art at Garfield Middle School. And when one student asked those magic words, wouldn’t it be cool if you could just take us to France? She knew she had get the trip going. “I was thinking about it real deep in the classroom. And I was like, Maybe we should go. I mean, I’ve always been really fond of art,” said Jonah Sanchez, a student at Garfield STEM Magnet and Community Middle School.

“When Jonah said, wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t it be cool if you could just take us to France? I was like, yes, yes, it would. And I was like, Dude, I have to make this happen,” said Taylor.
