Albuquerque man accused of driving truck through bank

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department has arrested a man they said rammed his truck into a bank after attacking an employee at a car dealership. According to a criminal complaint, an employee at Power Ford on Montaño saw Steven Gurule attempting to break into his car. When the employee approached him Gurule hit the man in the head with a tire iron.

Police said Gurule then drove up to a bank up the road and rammed his truck into the building several times before breaking through. They arrested Gurule behind the bank.

Court records show Guurle recently completed probation for battery on a peace officer in 2015 . He is now being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center facing multiple felony charges.
