UNM Hospital employees to receive bonus, pay raise

UNMH will use the money to pay retention bonuses and give raises to all of the 7,000 workers at UNMH and more than 600 workers at UNM’s Sandoval Regional Medical Center. “We want to invest in our staff when the financial needs are available and so here we are today which is an incredible piece and it’s a great way to celebrate the fact that we are having this wonderful new year of being a partner of UNM hospital,” said President of UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center Jamie Silva-Steele.

The state’s Human Services Department is also using federal money to supplement Medicaid reimbursements to UNMH.
