Trial to begin for man accused of killing someone at ABQ apartment

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of killing someone at a northeast Albuquerque apartment will have his trial on Monday.

Christopher Wade, 33 , was set to have his trial last September , but there was a mistrial after a jury disagreement.

Police said in 2022, Wade shot and killed Dustin Bantee after the two got into an argument at Sun Plaza Apartments on Montgomery and Jefferson.

Wade is charged with murder and aggravated assault.
