Man accused of ramming truck into Albuquerque bank to be held until trial

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albqureuqe man accused of ramming his truck into a bank after attacking a car dealership employee will remain behind bars. Steven Gurule is accused of hitting an employee at a car dealership on Montaño with a tire iron last week. He is also accused of ramming his truck into a nearby bank several times afterward.

State wants BCSO deputy held until trial for assault

The state asked for Gurule to be held in custody through his trial while his attorney argued that since Gurule recently completed probation he can follow court orders. Judge Joseph Montano agreed to keep Gurule behind bars through his trial. His next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
