BCSO planning DWI checkpoints for February

BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) says they are planning DWI checkpoints and saturation patrols through the month of February.

BCSO will be focusing on getting impaired drivers off streets in and around Albuquerque. They are also asking the public to call 911 to report suspected drunk drivers.

“Please utilize rideshare services and avoid drinking and driving at all costs. Through personal responsibility and proactive policing, we can make Bernalillo County a safer place to live,” BCSO said in a press release.
