Creamland Dairy offers jobs to Bimbo Bakery workers affected by closure

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The community is stepping in to help over 140 displaced workers get new jobs once the Bimbo Bakeries facility shuts down its Albuquerque location. Albuquerque City Councilor Joaquin Baca’s office is teaming up with Creamland Dairy to help the 149 workers who will be displaced once Bimbo Bakeries shuts its doors.

Sunport invites small businesses to sell their products through kiosk program

Councilor Baca says the Bimbo plant has been a staple in the North Valley for decades. Bimbo announced the closure on January 14, and they plan to officially close the plant in mid-April.

Creamland’s human resource manager says anyone interested is welcome to apply for positions they’re looking to fill at the dairy. For a link to the application, follow this link .
