Albuquerque Police announce increase in recruiting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department and city officials announced an increase in retention and recruiting for APD.

Sunport invites small businesses to sell their products through kiosk program

APD says recent recruiting strategies and improvements during the hiring process has helped the department build larger cadet classes. Chief Medina says 50% of the cadets are from Albuquerque, but have cadets from all over, including Australia and Puerto Rico.

APD says the 128th cadet class will graduate Monday, February, 5, 2024. The class will have 54 cadets.
