According to a criminal complaint, on January 27,  APD contacted NMSP to let them know there was a stolen vehicle that had fled the wrong way on Central Avenue. An air unit was tracking the vehicle, and NMSP officers were waiting to assist near State Road 333.

Crespin allegedly carjacked a BMW on State Road 333, then tried to carjack another vehicle on State Road 14, but failed. He then is accused of carjacking Porsche and fled down a dirt road where police say Crespin drove through two gates and three fences before getting stuck a mile away from the Black Mesa Casino.

Judge Joseph Montano ruled Crespin is a danger to the public and will remain behind bars until trial.
