ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – ABQ RIDE and “ Together for Brothers ” invited the community to the Alvarado Transportation Center on Saturday to help them celebrate “Transit Equity Day.”
The event offered resources and information for public transportation riders along with food and music.
Additionally, ABQ RIDE used the event to reserve a seat on the Central Boulevard Route 66 bus in honor of Rosa Parks.
ABQ RIDE said they made significant strides toward building a more equitable transit system last year with the Zero Fares Program.
