After windy conditions across much of the state and heavy snowfall in northern portions of the state, drier and calmer conditions returned today with plenty of sunshine. Slight winds kept temperatures from warming too much but a gradual warming trend will accompany is into Monday and Tuesday, with Tuesday likely being the warmest day of the week. Dry conditions will also persist through early Tuesday before another stronger, wetter storm arrives into mid to late next week. More widespread snow and rain will move across the state. If you want to get out and about, avoiding any wet weather, the best days will be Sunday and Monday.
