ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police Department Chief Harold Medina fielded more tough questions Monday from city councilors amid the federal corruption investigation into his DWI unit. Monday’s questioning centered on how APD trackers officers who miss court appearances, a subject that come under scrutiny in recent days.
A big question has been whose responsibility it is to report when an officer is a no-show. Earlier Monday, the District Attorney’s Office denied the chief’s assertion that the DA’s office is responsible for sending those notices.
