RIO RANCHO, N.M. – An Albuquerque police officer is facing a charge after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend at their home. Rio Rancho police responded to the 2000 block of Stapleton Avenue NE on Sunday, Feb. 4. Officers arrived to find both the victim and her 11-year-old daughter shaking and crying, according to court documents.
