ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police were dispatched to the Circle K near Ellison and Coors Wednesday night for reports of a man trying to rob a the gas station with an axe.

According to a criminal complaint, 32-year-old Jordan Vasquez was also attempting to fight people outside of the Circle K with a knife. Police say when officers arrived Vasquez attempted to flee in a vehicle and crashed into another vehicle and a patrol car. Vasquez was eventually apprehended at a nearby Pei Wei restaurant.
