2nd suspect in fatal Albuquerque stabbing turns himself in

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department said 25-year-old Antonio Secatero turned himself in to face charges in connection to the stabbing death of 73-year-old Fred Tapia. In January, Tapia and a friend were driving down Central when they swerved around two men and a woman.

Police say the group then confronted Tapia and his friend accusing them of trying to run them over before a fight broke out. Tapia and his friend were both stabbed with Tapia dying a short time later.

Antonio Secatero turned himself in Thursday evening. Wednesday, police arrested Jesus Secatero who is also accused of the stabbing. Both are facing charges of murder, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
