TriCore offering free COVID, flu testing through mid-March

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – TriCore has announced new opportunities to get tested for COVID-19 and flu testing and treatment. The Rio Rancho Meadowlark Senior Center in Rio Rancho and the San Ignacio Church ANNEX Building in Albuquerque will host the events until mid-March.

TriCore will administer rapid PCR COVID and flu tests for free and single doses of Xofluza on-site for positive flu tests if treatment is appropriate. Results can be obtained on-site or by email. The project is funded by grant money.

The tests and treatment will be available at the Rio Rancho Meadowlark Senior Center every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at least through March 13. The San Ignacio Church ANNEX location will be available on Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at least through March 15.
