ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque is installing new barricades to improve safety downtown. Central and its cross-streets downtown are getting drop-down arms that will replace the current temporary barricades.
The installations are a partnership between the Department of Municipal Development and the Albuquerque Police Department. They say these permanent drop-down arms will save the city money and time to set up for large events downtown.
