ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The African American Performing Arts Center of New Mexico promotes the visual and performing arts that supports African American culture. They also support scholastic and technological programs and projects that advance research and preservation history of African Americans.

In celebration of Black History Month AAPAC has special exhibits on display throughout the month. February 16, from 6 – 10 p.m. will be the premier of the film “No Man Standing.” Other events featured throughout the month is the Coro Lux concert from 4 – 6 p.m. on February 18; and a youth jazz concert on February 21st at the CNM Main Campus at 4:30 p.m.
