Suspect in custody following SWAT standoff in southeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A suspect who barricaded themselves has been taken into custody Tuesday morning in southeast Albuquerque.

False alarm prompts police presence at Presbyterian Hospital

Albuquerque police say the SWAT team was called to assist after a suspect barricaded inside a residence. APD says officers originally responded around 9 p.m. Monday night to the area of Charleston St. and Trumbull Ave. to reports of a person setting fires and threatening residents with a weapon. Police say the suspect has been taken into custody.
